WorldWide WCE has introduced its innovative 100V line speaker system, also known as a “constant voltage system”, to the market. This technology represents the most economical and efficient solution for the installation of multi-speaker sound systems, especially in large-scale industrial and commercial environments.

The 100V line system refers to the maximum output voltage of the amplifier. To achieve this high voltage, the amplifier is equipped with a step-up transformer, which increases the normal voltage output of approximately 30V to the required 100V.

100V Line System Diagram:

One of the main differences between a low impedance (4 or 8 Ohm) speaker system and a 100V line system lies in the way the individual speakers are connected to the amplifier. In a low impedance system, special care must be taken to maintain the correct impedance for the amplifier. However, in a 100V line system, a large number of individual speakers, each equipped with a step-down transformer, can be connected to a single speaker cable.

In a 100V line installation, each speaker or speaker cabinet is equipped with a step-down transformer. This transformer has a high impedance on the primary side, while the secondary side of the transformer matches the speaker's impedance (typically 8 Ohms). The primary side of the transformer normally has several taps, marked in watts, which are used to allow each speaker to be set to different volume levels. The total primary power must not exceed 90% of the amplifier's output.

Each speaker cabinet connected to the amplifier requires a step-down transformer. This ensures that the system can effectively and safely handle the distribution of sound across multiple speakers without compromising system quality or performance.

WorldWide WCE’s implementation of 100V line systems not only facilitates easier and more cost-effective installation, but also offers flexibility in setting the volume of each individual speaker. This is particularly beneficial in industrial environments where uniform and controlled sound distribution is needed for efficient and effective operations.

WorldWide WCE continues to lead the industrial sector with advanced technological solutions that optimize sound infrastructure, ensuring superior performance and cost-effective installation.
