WORLDWIDE WCE's programmable crystal oscillators have established themselves as a new benchmark in the industrial market. This series of programmable products features several strengths, including excellent jitter reduction performance, precise stability, and a wide frequency range. These oscillators are available in multiple package sizes to suit various design requirements.

WORLDWIDE WCE's oscillator design employs different approaches, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Fundamental vibration mode oscillators are ideal for jitter-sensitive designs, but face limitations when reaching higher frequencies due to crystal thickness. Third harmonic oscillators, on the other hand, offer better frequency stability and high-frequency options, although they require longer development time for frequencies not yet available.

Phase-shifted loop (PLL) technology provides greater flexibility in terms of availability of new frequencies and reduced production times. However, PLL jitter reduction performance may not meet stringent phase noise requirements.

To support agile board design, WORLDWIDE WCE has introduced the Programmable Crystal Oscillator Series. These oscillators offer higher frequency options with comparable jitter performance and reduced manufacturing times.


The WORLDWIDE WCE Oscillator is designed using state-of-the-art PLL technology, making it extremely versatile. It can provide a wide frequency range and good jitter reduction performance, making it a suitable choice for various applications requiring precise timing.
