"From among the various projects designed by us and our experience with a variety of different connectors, the WORLDWIDE WCE Mini Series was chosen due to its small form factor, metal housing and availability of integrated backshell adapter for minimal final cable assembly length. The high current capability of the pins and modularity with the mix of high power pins for specific applications, all available for crimping.
The WORLDWIDE WCE Mini Series has been primarily used to solve challenges related to internal wiring to/from PCBs, the various sensors and components within systems, and between internal enclosures. Rack-mount capabilities occasionally save the layout and labor of an internal cable connecting boards/connectors directly through a metal enclosure, saving the two-step alternative of PCB to enclosure, enclosure to external enclosure. We also use the Mini to solve enclosure-to-enclosure connection tasks, thus making it easier for our products to maintain modularity."
