WorldWide WCE, a leader in lighting solutions, has introduced its latest innovation in the industrial sector: the MinoStar LED module, capable of operating up to 700 mA. This module is distinguished by its minimalist design and its ability to integrate into small spaces thanks to its dimensions of Ø 38/24 x 17/7 mm, making it ideal for front or rear mounting.
The MinoStar is not only a visual delight with its aluminum housing and integrated cooling fins, but also plays a critical role in the thermal management of the high-power LED. The LEDs can operate with a current of up to 700 mA (approximately 2.2 watts), achieving a luminous flux of over 220 lm in white. This means that installing just four of these modules is equivalent to the luminous efficacy of a 100-watt incandescent lamp, while the power consumption is just 9 watts.
Available in beam angles of 15°, 30° or 45°, MinoStar modules offer traditional light colours such as red, yellow, green or blue, as well as five white gradations from warm to cool white, with a colour rendering index of up to Ra 85.
Each module is equipped with 0.22 mm² (approximately AWG24) red and black insulated wires of 30 cm length, with mini plug and contact pin for easy and safe connection against reverse polarity when connecting more than one module in series. It is important to note that the MinoStar can only operate with a suitable constant current source.
With this launch, WorldWide WCE not only sets new standards in energy efficiency and design, but also provides engineers and technical professionals with a lighting tool that aligns with the sustainability and performance demands of today’s market.
